Detachable-Drop Deck (RGN Lowboy)
A type of flat deck trailer known as a double drop removable gooseneck (RGN) trailer is distinguished by its long, narrow gooseneck trailer hitch. The phrase "double drop" describes two low places in the trailer deck located in the space in between the axles. A double drop trailer's front and back are constructed to be taller than one another, allowing for superior legal height clearance of up to 12 feet on the bottom deck.
